Biography/Artist Statement

I began my career as a photographer using and processing film in my dark room to bring to life fascinating images from backpacking trips in the Sierra Nevadas. In the new century, I discovered canvases and acrylic paints. Since then, my vision and purpose has been to evoke both imagination and emotion through abstract art. Color and composition are used to tell the story and connect the artist to the viewer. My goal is for you to enjoy my art as much as I have enjoyed painting it.
