Susan Masley Thomas

Biography/Artist Statement

Susan Masley is an emerging artist who specializes in abstract paintings on canvas and aluminum. Born in the Seattle area, she was mesmerized by the abstract art produced in the northwest during the 1960’s. Mid-life, a skiing accident turned her world upside down. After her recovery, she stopped skiing and started painting. She approached a canvas with paint for the first time. She is a self-taught artist. The vibe of her paintings is optimistic. She has lived in several states in the western U.S. and southern France. She currently lives in the Greater Palm Springs area, in Indio CA.
