Biography/Artist Statement

Even though ULRIKE’s passion for painting and drawing started in early childhood, it was not until she moved to Palm Springs, CA, after a long, successful career at a Hollywood Studio, that she finally fulfilled her dream of being a fulltime visual artist.

ULRIKE is a mixed media artist who paints mostly with acrylics and texture on canvas, enjoys collage and assemblage work, and loves exploring bright vibrant colors in her eclectic, surrealistic style. She has served on the Artist’s Council board for several years and is currently the Chair of the Artists Council.
