I wholeheartedly believe in the restorative powers of art. Through my oil paintings and murals I hope to bestow a moment of stillness and beauty to my viewers and collectors.
My BFA comes from CSU Sacramento, but my work also shows the influence of 30 years living in Hawaii. I enjoy painting foliage, as well as faces and fantasy, with a surreal direction. Years of teaching art history at Santa Barbara City College also gives me much information that can affect how I play with imagery. For as long as I can remember creativity has been the driving force of my life.
